In this case the plaintiff sued the defendant to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in a collision between motor vehicles operated by the plaintiff and by defendant agent. A jury trial was had and a verdict was returned in favor of the plaintiff. At the close of plaintiff’s case defendant moved for a directed verdict on the grounds that the case presented no evidence of negligence on the part of the defendant and that the evidence indicated that the plaintiff was guilty of contributory negligence.
