OPINION

RIDGWAY, Judge:

Plaintiff, the United States, brings this action to recover a civil penalty imposed on Defendant Paul Puentes (“Puentes”) by the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (“Customs”). 1 See generally Complaint; Plaintiffs Motion for Entry of Default Judgment (“Pl.’s Brief’). Now pending is Plaintiffs Motion for Entry of Default Judgment, which seeks judgment against Puentes in the amount of $30,000, as well as post-judgment interest and costs. Complaint at 6; Pl.’s Brief at 1, 9. 2
