The Paducah Building Trust Company was incorporated on the 12th day of January, 1893. It embraced the features of an ordinary building and loan association with those of an investment company. It engaged in the business for which it was organized upon the date of its incorporation and continued until the 27th day of June, 1899, when it made a voluntary assignment for the benefit of its creditors.
