Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for King county, Dykeman, J., entered December 2, 1919, upon findings in favor of the defendants, in an action on contract, tried to the court.

The plaintiff, Pearson, seeks recovery from the defendants of the sum of $2,407.52 as a balance claimed to be due him upon a construction contract for the remodeling of the interior of a large business block owned by the defendants, situated in the business district of Seattle; and also the foreclosure of a lien upon the property, claimed by the plaintiff by virtue of the performance of the contract. *61Trial in the superior court for King county resulted in findings and judgment in favor of the defendants denying any recovery, from which the plaintiff has appealed to this court.
