On June 25, 1924, plaintiff recovered a judgment of $10,000 against defendant in the circuit court of Wayne county as damages for personal injuries sustained on March 12, 1919, in an automobile accident while riding from Detroit to Mt. Clemens, caused by the overturning of the Ford car in which he was riding with a man named Villerot, who was; driving. Only the two men were in the car at the time of the accident and their mission together on that occasion was in connection with a senatorial election contest between defendant, Henry Ford, and Truman H.
