*878The defendants Michael Marthaler and Debra Marthaler (hereinafter together the appellants), are the owners of real property, improved by a single-family home, located in Mohegan Lake. On November 28, 2007, the plaintiff, an employee of the defendants Halstead Communications, Ltd. (hereinafter Halstead), and Mobilpro Installation Services, LLC (hereinafter Mobilpro), fell from a ladder while installing a satellite dish on the appellants’ home.
