MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
LINDBERG, District Judge.
On October 30, 1996, this civil action was filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, County Department, Chancery Divi sion, Case No. 96-CH-11885. It comes before this court on a Notice of Removal filed on November 26, 1996 under 28 U.S.C. §§ 1441, 1446 (1997). Defendant claims that the U.S. District Court has original jurisdiction of the action under the diversity statute, 28 U.S.C. § 1332 (1997).
