On the 22d day of January, 1861, Albert L. Merriam filed a bill in chancery, against George L. Ismon, May Louisa Ismon, Amos Shepherd and James Meader, to have declared void, as fraudulent, and as having been made to defraud creditors, two certain deeds of two separate parcels of land, from the said George L. Ismon, one to said Shepherd and the other to said Header, and to have said lands subjected to the payment of a certain judgment which had been recovered by the complainant against George L. Ismon.
