POPE, Presiding Judge.

William Michael Armstrong appeals from his conviction on one count of false imprisonment.

Viewed in the light most favorable to the verdict, the evidence showed that Lisa Aldridge went to visit Armstrong at his brother’s house on the afternoon of August 3, 1997. Aldridge testified that she and Armstrong had been “friends and lovers” for about a year. After an evening spent drinking beer and smoking marijuana, both Aldridge and Armstrong were drunk.
