I. Introduction

Barbara Vickers (Vickers) appeals the decision of the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (Commission) denying her compensation under Chapter 287, the Workers’ Compensation Act, for a claimed occupational injury. Vickers asserts that the Commission erred in affirming the Administrative Law Judge’s (ALJ) determination that she failed to establish a causal connection between her work cleaning laundry for residents at the Missouri Veterans Home and her contraction of a bacterium, Clostridium difficile.
