OPINION

FAY, Chief Justice.

This is a petition for certiorari brought by the petitioner, Barbara Lamarine (Lama-rine), from a probation violation hearing wherein the District Court judge adjudged the petitioner to be in violation of the terms of her probation and executed a previously imposed six-month suspended sentence. We affirm.

On November 7, 1985, Lamarine entered a plea of nolo contendere to a charge of loitering for prostitution pursuant to G.L. 1956 (1981 Reenactment) § 11-34-8, as amended by P.L. 1983, ch. 196, § l. 1 She was given a six-month suspended sentence and placed on one…
