On the thirteenth day of June, 1858, John F. Gray, of the county of Winston, died, leaving surviving him his wife, Mildred W. Gray, and four children, William H. Gray, N E. Potts, Martha S. Hudson, and Elvira Hudson. By his will John F. Gray gave to his wife certain designated property, aud the balance of his estate, both real and personal, he devised and bequeathed to his four children, to be equally divided between them, share and share alike.
