Contrary to his pleas, Staff Sergeant Kevin Gay was convicted at a general court-martial of two specifications of larceny, two specifications of wrongful appropriation, one specification of wire fraud, and one specification of identity theft, in violation of Articles 121 and 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. §§ 921, 934 (2012). Gay was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for six months, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to paygrade E-3.
