The appellant was found guilty at a court trial in the Criminal Court of Baltimore of assault with intent to rob and sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 4 years.

SRBBDY TRIAL

The appellant was arrested on 4 July 1967 and indicted and arraigned during that month. Counsel, appointed for him on 2 August, filed a motion for discovery which was answered by the State on 16 August. The answer gave the name of the prosecuting witness as Samuel J.
