GUITTARD, Chief Justice.

The principal question on this appeal is the validity of the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Dallas insofar as it prohibits storage of motor vehicles on property within a residential district when that storage is not incidental to the use of the property as a residence. The landowner, William P. Goode, sued the City for a judicial declaration that the ordinance is unconstitutional and for an injunction restraining its enforcement by criminal and civil proceedings. The City counterclaimed for a *755permanent injunction restraining violation of the ordinance.…
