Appellant appeals from an order revoking his probation and sentencing him to serve ten years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. He argues that the trial court erred in conducting the revocation hearing without his presence.

On December 7, 1992, appellant pleaded guilty to theft of property and was sentenced to five years’ probation. On April 8, 1997, appellant pleaded guilty to violating his probation, and his probation was extended for the period of one year.
