It appears from the record in this case, that on the 28th of May, 1861, Mrs. Ella Slingluff, of the City of Baltimore, executed the following paper :

In the name of God, Amen. I, Ella Slingluff, of Baltimore County, in the State of Maryland, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding,, and knowing the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do hereby declare and publish this, my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to say; I give and bequeath to my beloved mother, Caroline D.
