HAMILTON, Circuit Judge.

Petitioner Steven D. Lisle, Jr. was convicted of first degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm and was sentenced to 37 years in prison. He seeks a writ of habeas corpus because he contends that the state trial court admitted as evidence testimonial statements made by the surviving victim in violation of the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment. The district court denied the writ, and we affirm.
