KEECH, District Judge.
This is an action by plaintiff, as owner in the United States, .to compel registration on the principal register, under the 1946 Act (15 U.S.C.A. § 1051), of the trademark “Leitz”, displayed in script with a paraph of the initial letter extending beneath the entire word, for photographic appliances and supplies, op tical goods, such as binoculars and microscopes, and measuring and scientific appliances, such as micro metallographs, spectroscopes, colorimeters, titrators, and carbon meters.
