*821The facts relevant to this action were fully reviewed by us when we held that plaintiffs motion for partial summary judgment pursuant to Labor Law § 240 (1) should have been granted (219 AD2d 785). After a jury trial on the issue of damages, plaintiff was awarded $100,000 for past pain and suffering, $51,000 for lost earnings, $7,895 for past medical expenses, $125,000 for future pain and suffering, $535,000 for future loss of earnings…
