The instant case is a discrimination and retaliation action pursuant to the provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq. (“Title VII”) initially brought forth by the United States of America against the Municipality of Vega Alta (“the Municipality”) on behalf of Laura Molina (“Molina”), Madeleine Garcia (“Garcia”), Iris Bidot (“Bidot”) and Rafael Miranda (“Miranda”).
