Intervenor Plaintiff Sofía Figueroa Rossy (hereinafter “Figueroa”) aspires to intervene in this employment discrimination action brought by the United States Attorney General (hereinafter “the Government”) under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Government’s complaint is predicated on a charge of retaliation filed by Figueroa before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) against her employer, Defendant Policía de Puerto Rico (hereinafter “PRPD” or “Defendant”).
