Stephen B. Loyd (hereinafter “Loyd”) appeals the grant of summary judgment in favor of State Automobile Property & Casualty Company (hereinafter “State Auto”) on his claim for underinsured motorist benefits. Loyd was injured when he “laid down” his motorcycle in an attempt to avoid a collision with a vehicle and trailer, operated by Jack Williams (Williams), that pulled in front of him.
