OPINION
ABRAMSON, Judge.
Appellant Gary Stahl appeals from a summary judgment disposing of his counterclaim for fraud, abuse of process and slander of title. Stahl alleges that appellee St. Elizabeth Medical Center fraudulently altered a promissory note after signature and wrongfully filed a notice of lis pendens in an attempt to collect on its claim for hospital services provided to Stahl. Although our analysis of Kentucky law applicable to the promissory note differs from that of the trial court, we are in complete agreement with the trial judge’s conclusion that Stahl’s counterclaims are…
