AHRENS, Judge.

Marvin Jennings appeals from the judgment rendered by the trial court after a jury found him guilty of five counts of murder in the first degree, two counts of assault in the first degree, one count of robbery in the first degree and eight counts of armed criminal action. The jury assessed punishment of life imprisonment without the possibility of probation or parole on each of the murder counts. After finding appellant to be a prior offender, the trial court sentenced appellant to life imprisonment without the possibility of probation or parole on each of the five murder…
