On March 15, 1986, Gregory Allen Smith was arrested and charged with driving while his license was revoked and driving while under the influence of alcohol. The district court found appellant guilty of both charges. Appellant appealed his convictions to the circuit court, where he was again found guilty of both charges. For his driving under the influence conviction, appellant was sentenced to ten months' imprisonment in the county jail and fined $1,000 plus court costs.
