Plaintiffs, skilled Negro shipyard workers, brought this action on behalf of themselves and approximately 2,000 other Negro workers similarly situated, to restrain defendants from interfering with their employment or reemployment because they are not members of certain local labor unions affiliated with the defendant International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Shipbuilders and Helpers of America.
