The above cases involved two young male adults, each eighteen years of age, who are charged with the violation of § 18.2-137 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, on December 24, 1978, at approximately 1:00 o’clock a.m., vandalism, i.e., damage to property of another, at Azalea Mall in the County of Henrico. They each waived their right to an attorney and were tried and convicted originally in the Henrico County General District Court upon a plea of guilty in each case on January 5, 1979.
