FISCHER, Judge.

Karen E. DeBusk, appellant, filed a claim with the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission (the “Commission”) under the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Act (the “Act”). *99Appellee, Johns Hopkins Hospital contested the claim, alleging that the claim was barred by the statute of limitations. The Commission held a hearing and found that the statute of limitations barred the filing of the claim. The Circuit Court for Baltimore City (Gordy, J.) affirmed, on a motion for summary judgment. DeBusk appeals from that order and asks us to address the following questions:
