In the probate court of Cook county, Minnie I. Wood, administratrix of the estate of Frank F. Wood, deceased, filed a petition for a citation against the respondent, William V. Tyler, in which she alleged that he had in his possession moneys belonging to the deceased. A citation issued and the cause was heard by the court upon evidence offered by the petitioner and the respondent. The court found that on September 8, 1925, Frank F. Wood received from A. V. Booth & Company its check for $4,374.53, the proceeds of the sale of a certificate of membership of Wood in the Chicago Board of Trade;…
