The Court in this ease has ruled that New Jersey’s Comparative Negligence Act, N.J.S.A. 2A:15-5.1 et seq,, prevents a plaintiff injured in an accident from recovering damages from defendants whose combined fault for the accident equaled or exceeded that of the plaintiff. It does so notwithstanding the statute’s intent to permit recovery by a plaintiff whose own fault for accidental injury constitutes no more than half of the total fault.
