Defendant appeals from a conviction for aggravated robbery.

The offense occurred on August 16, 1967, at a service station in the city of St. Paul. The attendant was forced into a back room of the station from which he escaped in time to record the license number of the vehicle in which the robber made his getaway. The police, armed with a description of the car and the name of the registered owner, sighted the car parked in front of a restaurant not long after the offense was committed.
