ORDER DENYING CLASS CERTIFICATION
BARKER, District Judge.
This matter is before the Court on Plaintiffs’ Renewed Motion for Class Certification. For the reasons discussed in this entry, we deny class certification in this case.
I. Background
This case was originally filed on December 5, 2003, on behalf of eight African-American employees of the Defendant, Citizens Gas & Coke Utility (“Citizens”) who claimed they were required to take a test, known as the Work Competency Assessment (“WCA”), as a part of their efforts to gain promotions.
