GRANGER, Judge:

Appellant was convicted by general court-martial of burglary, rape and sodomy. He was sentenced to confinement at hard labor for 10 years, forfeiture of $250 pay per month for 120 months, reduction to pay grade E — 1, and separation with a bad-conduct discharge. The convening authority, *756in accordance with a pretrial agreement, remitted confinement at hard labor in excess of 5 years.

At approximately 0230 one morning, appellant and another sailor, S, entered the women’s barracks at an Air Force base in Italy. They went from door to door until they found one that was not locked.…
