The plaintiff, Eugene R. Schiavone, appeals from the trial court’s judgment in favor of the defendant, Bank of America, N.A. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the factual findings of the court are clearly erroneous. We disagree and affirm the judgment of the trial court.

The court found the following facts. On August 24, 1988, the plaintiff deposited $50,000 in a six month certificate of deposit with Connecticut National Bank, a predecessor in interest to the defendant.
