Arnold Edens was convicted of the crime of obtaining property by false pretense (§ 41-1901 Ark. Stats.); and he prosecutes this appeal. The record is voluminous, and the motion for new trial contains sixty-five assignments, all of which are presented in the appellant’s brief and have been studied. We group and discuss them.
