PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. On September 11, 2008, a jury in the Leake County Circuit Court found Archie Hall guilty of manslaughter. Hall was sentenced to serve eighteen years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Hall now appeals, asserting the following issues: (1) the trial court erred in denying his hearsay objection; (2) the trial court erred in denying his request for a peremptory instruction; and (3) the trial court erred in refusing jury instruction D-6.
