WIDENER, Circuit Judge:
These appeals arise out of the district court’s disposition of a rather complicated antitrust case in which a jury, after having listened to the testimony of more than 20 witnesses and having considered more than 240 exhibits during the course of a three and one-half week trial, determined that nine defendants had violated § 1 of the Sherman Act by conspiring to restrain *419trade or commerce.
