On the 26th of August, 1880, the appellees, Mary Coleman, Bobert H. Forrester, Martin Beem, and Daniel F. Flannery, brought an action of ejectment in the Superior Court of Cook county, against the West Chicago Park Commissioners, for the recovery of an undivided half of a certain two-acre lot of land, situate in Cook county, being now a part of the city of Chicago. There w-ere three trials of the cause in the court below. The defendants were successful in the first trial, and the plaintiffs in the last two,—the last trial occurring on the 17th of May, 1883,…
