Adolphus Wedgeworth was indicted for the murder of one Lenora May Wedgeworth in violation of § 13A-6-2, Code of Alabama 1975. The jury returned a verdict of guilty as charged in the indictment and the trial court sentenced him to 15 years' imprisonment.
The evidence shows that the appellant and the deceased's father, Frank May, drove around drinking on the afternoon of July 19, 1980. Later that same afternoon the appellant went to the home of his ex-wife, Lenora May Wedgeworth, to talk to her.
