'The defendants in error have filed a very extensive 'brief in support of their petition for rehearing and in addition thereto numerous- attorneys have filed amicus curiae briefs. The trial court sustained a demurrer to the petition as to one defendant and sustained a motion for judgment on the pleadings as to the' other defendant. The petition asked for cancellation of the oil and gas lease upon several grounds, to wit: (1) That it was obtainm oy fraud; and (2) that the procedure adopted in procuring said lease was in direct violation of rule 9 of this…
