May Maud Buckles, claiming to be the adopted daughter and sole heir, and J. W. Buckles, appearing as the administrator of the estate of Peter Schafer or Shafer, now deceased, as joint plaintiffs, instituted an action in the district court of Logan county against William E. Smith and others, and being unsuccessful, appeal to this court from the judgment rendered in the trial court in favor of the defendants.
