Pinney, in the court below, filed his bill against Geo. J. and Sevilla Alden, in 1866, alleging that he was the “ owner of so much of lot E, in the city of Pensacola, as lies east of a line-beginning on Recova street ninety feet from Commendancia street, and running south to the bay;” that this lot was formerly the property of the city of Pensacola, and that on the 16th March, 1827, the city, in exchange for another lot, conveyed *377that portion of lot IS, described above, to one Manuel Gonzalez, from whom, by several mesne conveyances, Pinney tlerives title; that at the time said deed was…
