Careful reconsideration of this case on the defendant's motion for rehearing, at which new matter was brought to the attention of the court in the able briefs and arguments of counsel for both parties, convinces me that the Trial Court should be sustained and the plaintiff's petition dismissed.

No words could be plainer than those of the statute covering this case which reads as follows: "EMPLOYEE'S FAULT. The employer shall not be liable for any injury to the workman which is caused in whole or in part by the intoxication, violation of law, or serious or wilful misconduct of the workman." R.…
