KENT, District Judge.
Plaintiff Ernany De Joseph (“De Joseph”) is a Filipino seaman who seeks to recover damages under the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C. § 688 et seq., and the General Maritime Law of the United States, for injuries allegedly sustained while working aboard the M/T BOW FAGUS.
