Plaintiff Potenciano Aggarao, Jr. has sued- Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.; MOL Ship Management Co., Ltd.; Nissan Motor Car Carrier Co., Ltd.; World Car Carriers, Inc.; and World Marine Co., Ltd. (“the defendants”) for negligence pursuant to general maritime law and the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C. § 30104; unseaworthiness; maintenance and cure; and violation of the Seaman’s Wage Act, 46 U.S.C. § 10313.
