This Court is called upon to decide whether defendant was denied a fair trial by the admission of certain rebuttal evidence. We conclude that the rebuttal evidence was properly admitted. *393Accordingly, we affirm the judgment of the Court of Appeals, but for the reasons stated in this opinion.
