This action was originally brought by respondent against thei appellant Brewer to cancel a certain deed theretofore, made to said Brewer by one Ina H. *672Houghton, purporting to convoy real estate in the city of Seattle, to remove an alleged, cloud created by said deed, and to quiet respondent’s title to said land.
