We review the recommendation of the referee that the license of Clifton G. Owens to practice law in Wisconsin be suspended for 60 days as discipline for his failure to file state income tax returns timely or at all and his failure to respond to requests of the Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility (Board) for information concerning that misconduct. We determine that the recommended 60-day license suspension is appropriate discipline for Attorney Owens' failure over an extended period of time to comply with state law…
