United Rope Distributors, a Minnesota corporation, bought 300,000 bales of baler twine in Brazil. Farmers use baler twine to tie bales of agricultural products; United Rope’s order covered approximately 30% of the nation’s annual consumption of this twine. United Rope approached a New York shipping broker, which booked passage from the Kimberly Line, a New York corporation. Kimberly chartered a ship from Copenship A.S., a Danish corporation.
